Thermo-XY:  An evidence-based fat burner that supports the breakdown of adipose tissue

Thermo-XY is a powerful weight management supplement for men, designed to support healthy efficacious fat loss as part of a calorie controlled diet and exercise regime.

If you are struggling to lose weight, reduce stubborn belly-fat, or generally want to hone your physique by dropping a those extra pounds of body fat, then Thermo-XY is for you.

This is because Thermo-XY fat burner for men contains a stack of 12 well-documented ingredients, each dosed in meaningful quantities, which collectively help facilitate the normal and efficeient breakdown of stored body fat and support weight loss through a number of different pathways.

For example, naturally occurring stimulating compounds found in bitter orange peel, namely, synephrine, supports the normal breakdown and mobilisation of free fatty acids from stored body fat, along with normal thermogenisis, subsequently leading to an up-regulation of fat oxidation.

Coleus forskohlii activates an increase in cyclic AMP (cAMP) which some studies show enhances lipolysis consequently reducing the accumulation of body fat.

With that said, we genuinely understand that targeting fat loss is absolutely no easy task, and while Thermo-XY can help you along your way in achieving your fat burning goals, it isn’t some other-worldly cure that instantly incinerates body fat.

Nor do we claim it to be the best fat burning pill in the world that will burn 7 pounds of fat in 1 week. We are however confident that, as with the rest of our customers, you will love it.

Thermogenesis is the key to mobilising body fat

Thermogenesis refers specifically to the production of heat and is due to Thermo-XY’s carefully dosed natural stimulant-containing ingredients that support the degradation of body fat. It is therefore no coincidence that our customers who take advantage of Thermo-XY, typically report an increase in metabolic heat as they are losing weight.

Furthermore, because transparency is one of our key objectives here at DNA Lean®, you will not hear us making any outlandish claims, such as “our fat burner will help you lose 20lbs in one week”, simply because it won’t.

In fact, for optimal weight loss and fat burning, we recommend using Thermo-XY in conjunction with a healthy diet and lifestyle, including regular exercise. We believe a sensible combination of all 3 factors creates a synergistic fat burning effect, surpassing that which can be achieved through any one factor alone.

Research-driven efficacious ingredients

To maximise transparency and make it easy for you, we also put together a detailed step by step breakdown of every ingredient; what it does, and why we included it in our product. This way you know exactly what you are getting.

Finally, unlike illegal fat burners, Thermo-XY contains natural ingredients that are compliant with UK law and regulation and are therefore fit for purpose and safe to use. Always read the label.

Thiamin (Vitamin B1)

Thiamin is the first vitamin in the family of vitamins known as the B complex vitamins. Thiamin, along with the rest of the B complex family, play an integral role of many vital metabolic pathways and biochemical functions within the human body. It is essential for maintaining a healthy heart and cardiovascular system and is imperative for cell growth.

Thiamin is also responsible for optimum carbohydrate metabolism - unlocking energy from the food that we eat.

A deficiency in Thiamin can lead to sub-optimal carbohydrate metabolism and an improper carbohydrate metabolism can have a negative effect on body fat levels.

Niacin (Vitamin B3)

Niacin as with all B vitamins is water soluble; ergo it can rapidly enter and leave the body, and therefore as an essential nutrient, ideally should be consumed on a daily basis. Thiamin, works in synergy with its other family members of the B complex family and is responsible for a normal and healthy thyroid function (euthyroid state).

The thyroid gland is responsible for governing the metabolism; typically an under-active thyroid leads to weight gain and increased body fat. The DNA Lean Thermo-XY formula incorporates several of the essential B vitamins to help support optimal health and normal bodily functions.

Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium)

Also referred to as the Seville orange. Bitter orange has many different uses other than just the eating of it. The essential oils extracted from the peel can be used to treat various skin conditions and in Ayurvedic medicine the oils are used to treat digestive system disorders. The extract of the bitter orange peel contains a compound called Synephrine, an adrenergic amine which stimulates the biological processes of the breakdown of body fat.

Synephrine causes the release of noradrenaline which increases fat breakdown by binding to β3 receptors which then signal bio-chemical reactions which increase fat breakdown. β3 receptors increase the rate at which fat is released from body stores (lipolysis) and increase resting metabolic rate (thermogenesis). Because Synephrine indirectly stimulates β3 receptors with minimal effect on α- and β-receptors, Citrus Aurantium has reduced adverse effects on heart rate and blood pressure. For these reasons it has been added to, and is an invaluable ingredient in our our DNA Lean Thermo-XY fat burning formula.

Green Coffee Bean Extract (Chlorogenic Acid)

Green coffee beans are regular uncooked coffee beans, untouched left in their unprocessed and natural state. These green coffee beans are much higher in a substance called chlorogenic acid; it is the roasting of coffee beans that transforms them from their natural green colour to the more commonly seen brown coloured beans.

The process of "cooking" the beans removes the Chlorogenic acid; Green coffee extract is taken from the un-roasted green coffee beans. Chlorogenic acid has been shown to reduce cholesterol and also increase fat loss via mechanism of glucose metabolism by inhibiting key enzymes that are responsible for forming glucose. In a nutshell using green coffee extract may mimic the effects of being on a lower carbohydrate diet, thus helping to contribute to fat loss.

Coleus Forskohlii

Coleus Forskohlii is a herb that has its root deeply grown in Ayurveda; A Sanskrit word translating to "life knowledge". In ancient Indian culture, Ayurvedic doctors would use plants and herbs as medicines to effectively treat and cure illnesses as part of their holistic practices. Modern science now brings ancient Indian knowledge to the forefront of human kind. Using advanced laboratory analytical equipment, scientists have been able to discover the bioactive chemical substrates of the Coleus Forskohlii herb and better understand their mechanisms and metabolic pathways within the human body.

The active ingredient of Coleus Forskohlii being Forskohlii; Forskolii has been shown to raise levels of cAMP (Cyclic adenosine monophosphate better known as cyclic AMP). Intracellular cyclic AMP forms an integral biochemical component of the Hyperthalamus Pituitary Testicular Hormonal Axis (HPTA), enabling cellular communication needed for various endocrine functions. While Forskohlii is still being researched, studies indicate that supplementation of this wonder herb has a profound affect on fat loss through its influence on cAMP.

Meadowsweet (Filipendula Ulmaria)

The active ingredient in the Meadowsweet plant is Salicin, a glycoside present in all parts of the Meadowsweet plant; leaf, root and flower. Salicin is used as a nature's alternative the pharmaceutically made aspirin. Aspirin has been used for decades as part of a ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin fat burning stack. The combination of Meadowsweet and bitter orange is nature's equivalent of these pharmaceutical medicines, and as such has become a potent non medicinal fat burning stack.

Cayenne

Capsaicin is the primary active ingredient in cayenne. Capsaicin is involved in pain mediation and also has anti-inflammatory properties. It also has a protective effect on the lining of the stomach. In addition, it has beneficial effects on circulation. Full body blood circulation can be important in fat burning by ensuring fat is mobilised via the blood from all areas of your body. Cayenne also has a significant thermogenic effect, in which you can actually feel your body temperature raise, a side effect when your body burns fat as fuel.

Bioperine

From the extract of black pepper (Piper nigrum L) Bioperine is an essential ingredient to our DNA Lean® Thermo- XY formula. Bioperine is a nutrient absorbent enhancer and has been shown to increase the bioavailability of nutritional ingredients. It has therefore been added to our formula to further enhance the bioavailability and nutrient synergy of all ingredients and thus further enhancing the formulas fat burning effects.

L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid (the body can manufacture it from other amino acids). However, it is essential for the manufacture of catecholamine neurotransmitters such as dopamine, dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA), norepinephrine, and epinephrine. Variations in neurotransmitter concentrations have been shown to result in a variety of physiological and psychological changes. For example, reduction in brain catecholamines have been found in association with depression and memory deficits.

L-Tyrosine has also been found to minimise or reverse stress-induced performance decrement by increasing depleted pools of norepinephrine. L-Tyrosine is the precursor for the hormones thyroxine and triiodothyronine produced in the thyroid gland and which are responsible for changes in metabolic rate. L-Tyrosine is also one of the precursors to human growth hormone which is a lipolytic (breakdown of fat) polypeptide hormone.

Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo Biloba is extracted from the the leaves of the Ginkgo tree and contains phytonutrients called flavonoid glycosides. Due to its chemical substrates Ginkgo has many useful properties including improved blood flow, circulation, and has also been shown to combat free radicals to help prevent oxidative damage. Ginkgo Biloba has been shown to improve blood circulation to various tissues; the skin, brain, hands, feet and legs. Ginkgo is also a potent antioxidant and can have significant anti-inflammatory effects.

Huperzine A

Huperzine A is an extract from the native Chinese plant Huperzia serrata, and is referred to as a nootropic (cognitive enhancer). Huperzine A is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, and as such can increase levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is not only a mood enhancer but is also one of the chemicals that our nerves use to communicate in the brain, muscles, and other areas.

Do fat burners really work?

Not all fat burners are equal. They can contain different ingredients and therefore produce different results.

Some fat burners also use 'proprietary blends' whereby they do not disclose the dosage of each individual ingredient. This way the products can be bulked out with cheaper ineffective ingredients while the more expensive and effective ones have just a tiny amount that has no significant effect.

We disclose the dosage of each and every individual ingredient and only use the highest quality and research-backed ingredients.

Our products genuinely work, try them for yourself and see.

Our Top 6 Natural Fat Burning Foods
Cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar

The peptide hormone insulin, secreted by the beta cells of the pancreas, is responsible for lowering blood glucose when it gets too high. Every time carbohydrates are ingested, insulin will at some point be secreted by the pancreas in order to reduce blood glucose.

Controlling insulin response is imperative for fat loss as insulin is a hormone that can effectively dump excess glucose into fat cells, ergo increasing body fat.

Cinnamomum burmannii (indonesian cinnamon), was research by Jarvill-Taylor, Anderson, Graves, et al 2001. Their results showed that the extract of this cinnamon, namely Cinnulin PF® (methyl hydroxy chalcone polymer or MHCP), hugely increased glucose metabolism. The conclusion of the study was that this special extract of cinnamon is an effective mimetic of insulin.

Oily fish supports fat burning

Oily fish, such as salmon and mackeral, are typically high in omega-3 eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and linolenic acid (LA). Many studies agree that these particular types of fatty acids could play an integral role in reducing body fat.

One study in particular, Combining fish-oil supplements with regular aerobic exercise cardiovascular disease risk factors 1, 2, 3 improves body composition, concluded that fish oils reduce body fat and improve cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Raw celery for a colon cleanse

There are several benefits that can be reaped from snacking on raw celery, not only is it packed full of essentials minerals and vitamins, celery is also very very low in calories and a great source of fibre. Even though you don't need to count calories to lose weight, it is still important not to over eat. Why does this matter? Simply put, you can eat a ton of celery without having to worry about consuming too many calories.

Celery also has two useful benefits for fat loss, first; due to its high fibre content its keeps you fuller for longer helping curb cravings for extra food. Second; due to its fibrous structure, celery acts like a natural toothbrush for your colon helping to cleanse and detox your digestive tract.

Grapefruit boosts the metabolism

Grapefruit is especially high in a particular phytonutrient called naringin, which belongs to a very large class of plant pigments known as flavonoids. These vibrant flavonoids are responsible for giving the diverse range of colours to many different plants and vegetables. Flavonoids generally have powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory functions, however studies show that naringin in particular is one of the best fat burning foods that speeds up the metabolism.

Scientists have found that naringin influences key enzymes that contribute to increased fat utilisation, fat metabolism and improved mitochondrial function on patients with metabolic syndrome, obesity, and related cardiovascular complications. We suggest eating at least one large organic grapefruit daily.

Hot peppers to accelerate fat loss through thermogenesis

All peppers of the genus capsicum, namely, bell pepper, chilli peppers, jalepeno peppers and scotch bonnet peppers, all have a high content of capsaicin and other related compounds known as capsaicinoids. Capsicum peppers are rated in potency using the Scoville scale; this is a measure of capsaicin content. Capsaicinoids are known to have a thermogenic effect by increasing body temperature by way of stimulating the metabolism to oxidise fat and thus increase body temperature.

The thermic effect of green vegetables

Green cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale, cabbage and collard greens, are most definitely worthwhile incorporating in to your diet. These vegetables are naturally high in essential vitamins and minerals such as iron, folate and vitamin C, along with other important micronutrients. Cruciferous vegetables are naturally low in macronutrients and calories and also help support weight loss due to their high fibre content and slow digestion rate.

The energy difference between the energy required to digest these nutrient dense foods (thermic effect), and the amount of energy the foods actually contain, is often negligible. Thus eating a plate full of these particular veggies will provide a ton of healthy nutrients and satisfy hunger pangs without over loading energy requirements.
